Harry Potter, their savior, their hero, the vanquisher of Voldemort, was gone. Vanished the instant he defeated Voldemort. No body, no clues. Everyone was devastated, but some more than others... A/N - This is an already existing story that I am going back, cleaning up, adding some more detail and sections, etc.

My take on Harry's 7th year; no sudden revelations, no sudden realisations of love. A slow paced-romance fic with fast-paced action.
When everything suddenly become much more complicated, Harry realizes that sometimes, you just really need to ask the difficult questions. Minimal fluff, mostly just a conversation between two best friends on a train.
A single step can take you far further than you could have ever imagined. Two steps can take you closer to another person than you'd ever dreamed. A few steps outside a doorway can do both.
